Description

Gooey S’mores Protein Balls are a delicious grab-and-go snack combining nostalgic s’mores flavors with a protein-packed boost. These no-bake, chewy bites feature melted marshmallows, dark chocolate chips, and crunchy graham cracker crumbs for a sweet and satisfying treat perfect for fueling your day or post-workout.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup graham cracker crumbs

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup nut butter (almond or peanut)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • ½ cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients: Combine protein powder, rolled oats, and graham cracker crumbs in a medium bowl to create the textured base.
  2. Add the Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, stir together nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Combine and Fold: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir well. Gently fold in mini marshmallows and dark chocolate chips, distributing evenly throughout the mixture.
  4. Form the Balls: Using hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the sticky mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Chill to Set: Place the formed balls on a lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up and enhance the gooey texture of the marshmallows.

Notes

  • Keep ingredients cold to make rolling easier.
  • Don’t overmix to avoid dense balls.
  • Use mini marshmallows for proper melting without overpowering texture.
  • Adjust sweetness by tasting and adding more honey if needed.
  • For firmer balls, add more oats or graham cracker crumbs if mixture is too wet.
