Description

Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are bite-sized, cheesy, and savory snacks featuring juicy seasoned ground beef combined with parmesan and mozzarella cheese, wrapped in soft dough, brushed with a garlic parsley butter topping, and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for parties, casual dinners, or game day, these flavorful bombs offer an irresistible combination of garlic, cheese, and classic cheeseburger flavors in a convenient finger food.

Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Dough & Assembly

  • 1 can Pillsbury biscuit dough or equivalent pizza dough (about 16 oz)

Topping

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then add minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in grated parmesan and shredded mozzarella until cheese is melted and evenly combined. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a large rectangle about 1/4-inch thick for easy portioning.
  3. Assemble the Bombs: Cut the dough into approximately 3-inch squares. Place a generous spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture into the center of each square. Fold the dough corners up and pinch edges tightly to seal each bomb, preventing filling from leaking.
  4. Add the Garlic Parsley Butter Topping: Mix melted butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley, then brush this mixture over the tops of each sealed bomb to create a flavorful and golden crust during baking.
  5. Bake Until Golden: Arrange bombs on a parchment-lined baking sheet with space between each. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill the dough squares to prevent leaks and difficulty sealing.
  • Let the beef filling cool before assembling to avoid soggy dough.
  • Use cold dough for easier handling and a flakier crust.
  • Brush the tops generously with butter mixture for a crisp and golden finish.
  • Serve warm for optimal gooey, cheesy texture and flavor.
